Marc Prokosch
Senior Attorney

Marc founded Prokosch Law in 2019 after working at a previous immigration firm from 2003 to 2019. Marc regularly handles the most complex immigration cases, representing individuals throughout the immigration process, from application to appeal. Marc practices before USCIS, the immigration court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, U.S. District Courts, and the Circuit Courts of Appeal.

Marc is active in the immigration bar, previously chairing two committees for the Minnesota/Dakotas chapter of AILA. Marc was chair of the chapter from 2012-2013, and recently served 2 years as the chair of the AILA National Bylaws Committee where he is now a well respected member. He regularly mentors other attorneys and law students, and frequently speaks on immigration topics for attorneys as well as at public forums in the community.

Before law school, Marc was a high school English teacher in both Minnesota and Kenya, after graduating from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Isabelle Plunkett
Associate Attorney

Isabelle joined Prokosch Law in July of 2021 as a law clerk, and graduated law school in June 2023. After her first year of law school, Isabelle knew that she wanted to find a job that would allow her to help other people significantly but also challenge herself in a new field. She applied to Prokosch Law because she suspected that she would love to be an immigration attorney, and working here has just solidified that thought. Isabelle is passionate about politics and specifically immigration, as it is her belief many people don’t know as much about it as they should. She wants to continue working in immigration for the foreseeable future because she believes immigration law is an everchanging field that has an immense ability to change people’s lives.

Aside from school and work, Isabelle spends a lot of time with her dog Milo. Together they like to find coffee shops and dog-friendly restaurants. She loves cooking and trying new restaurants because she believes that these things are a good way to bring people together.

Sian Williams
Associate Attorney

Siân graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School with concentrations in Criminal Law and Human Rights Law. As a student, Siân worked as a supervising student attorney in the Criminal Defense Clinic where she represented clients in criminal proceedings. Siân was also a Cooper Human Rights Fellow with the Refugee and Immigrant Rights Program at the the Advocates for Human Rights where she worked with clients seeking asylum in the US.

After graduating, Siân worked as an Associate Attorney at the Hennepin County Public Defender Office where she was a fierce advocate – both in and out of court – for indigent clients accused of a wide range of criminal offences. There, Siân also worked alongside consultant immigration attorneys in order to minimize the impacts of a criminal conviction on a client’s immigration proceedings.  

After making the difficult decision to move back to the United Kingdom, Siân joined Prokosch Law in December 2021 to advocate for those navigating the complexities of the US immigration system. Siân is passionate about protecting the rights of non-citizens in addition to providing client-centred, diligent, and empathetic representation.

Before law school, Siân graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MA in English Literature and History. Siân then taught English as a second language in continental Europe before moving to the US to pursue a law degree.

Rachel Wright
Law Firm Administrator

Rachel graduated from St. Olaf College with a BA in Psychology and Statistics. After a year of service with the Lutheran Volunteer Corps, she worked for 6 years in social services for the mentally ill. She then transitioned into a job as Director of Children & Family Ministries at Easter Lutheran Church in Eagan, MN before taking a few years off to stay home with her children. After working part-time for 8 years as the Parish Administrator at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, she joined Prokosch Law in October, 2019 as office manager. In 2022, she moved into the job of paralegal, which allows her to merge her passion for social justice with her writing and interest in social work. Currently, she is the law firm administrator, wearing many hats at the firm.

When not working, Rachel loves to spend time with friends and family, read, talk politics, play clarinet in the Minnesota Symphonic Winds, and spend time outdoors. Rachel and her husband live in Roseville with their three children.

Andrea Thompson Law Clerk

Andrea joined Prokosch Law in January 2021 as an intern and has since been hired as a law clerk. She is currently a second-year Dean’s list student at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, pursuing her dream of becoming an immigration attorney. She hopes to graduate with her J.D. in the spring of 2026. Andrea graduated in May 2023 from the University of Minnesota with her B.A. in political science, social justice, and African American studies.

With her passions for politics, civil rights and social justice, and a newfound love for immigration law, she hopes to make a positive impact on the Minneapolis immigrant community through her work for years to come.

Andrea grew up in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. When not working or studying, she loves to read, listen to music, watch the Minnesota Vikings, and be with friends outside.

Srilekha Garishakurti
Paralegal

Srilekha joined Prokosch Law in May 2022 as a Paralegal because of her interest and passion for immigration law and policy. Srilekha graduated in December of 2022 from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with her B.S. in Sociology with an emphasis on Policy Analysis and a B.A. in Political Science, while minoring in Public Health. She hopes to attend Law School and obtain a master's in public policy to study human rights law, justice, and policy for underrepresented communities. Being a child of immigrants from India, she understands the adversities that immigrants face in the United States and hopes to fight for representation and justice for these individuals.

During her free time, Srilekha loves to sing, dance, cook, travel, and spend time with her loved ones. She also loves to try new food and listen to music!

Raveena-Flor Lalwani
Paralegal and Human Resources Consultant

Raveena-Flor joined Prokosch Law in June 2022 as an intern and has since been hired as a paralegal and consultant. She graduated from St. Olaf College in May 2023 with a B.A. in Political Science and concentrations in International Relations, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and Education Studies- TEFL Cert. (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). She has focused her political science research in International Law, Human Rights, and Citizenship & Immigration. Raveena-Flor is a master’s in business administration (MBA) candidate at Trine University, studying full-time while working as a paralegal and human resources consultant at Prokosch Law.

Raveena-Flor was born and raised in Asunción, Paraguay, but has been studying in the United States since 2017. During her free time, she enjoys folk dancing with the Ethnic Dance Theatre and the St. Paul Czech & Slovak Folk Dancers.

Fenet Admasu
Paralegal

Fenet is a Minnesota native who was born and raised in Roseville, Minnesota. Being a child of immigrant parents, she understands the challenges both immigrants and their children face. Fenet is vocal and passionate about social justice and equality in all communities. Immigration as well as civil equality have always been a passion of hers, and she is eager to pursue her education by attending law school in the years to come. 

As a first generation female graduate, Fenet characterizes herself as an individual who is charismatic and a problem-solving enthusiast. She demonstrates this by having a natural ability to think strategically and execute plans tactically. In her free time Fenet enjoys attending Twin Cities sporting events with friends and family, reading, and trying new restaurants around the metro area!

Mary Kolarova
Paralegal

Mary was raised in Roseville, Minnesota, and being a child to immigrant parents, she understands the trials and tribulations that accompany navigating the immigration system. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Sociology and after graduating, she worked in the Behavioral Health field, gaining experience providing clients with holistic services. She came into this field with the intent of creating a community that’s safe and non-oppressive and ultimately, hopes to attend Law School and become an immigration lawyer, where she can fight against the injustices immigrants face.

In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, traveling, watching movies, cooking, and hanging out with her friends and family.

Ken Cordle
Office Manager

Being a recent transplant to the Twin Cities, I’m still getting used to when people say U of M, they’re not referring to Michigan (GO BLUE!)  Born in Raised in Southeast Michigan, I attended Anderson University (IN) where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in music and religion.  Following college, I moved to Louisville, Kentucky where I enjoyed a career in Human Resources, completed a Master of Education in Human Resources (University of Louisville) and Master of Science in Business Communication (Spalding University) before obtaining my real estate license.  While working in the corporate and non-profit worlds, I also served as Music Director/Organist in various churches. 

When not at work, I enjoy playing piano and singing, live music performances and the arts, I have a passion for Social Justice and Social Activism, I LOVE FOOD, gardening, travel, and quiet evenings at home with my family that consists of my partner and two spoiled K-9 children. 

 

Alexa Ramirez
File Clerk

Alexa came to Prokosch Law in 2024 as a junior at Highland High school. She plays three sports and works on weekends or during any other free time.

Alexa is bilingual and interested in studying immigration law in her future! Outside of work and school, she enjoys time with friends and family, being in nature and listening to music.
